The success of Squid Game's original Netflix show, Hoyeon, a South Korean model and actress received international recognition. For her breakout performance on the show Hoyeon took home the Screen Actors Guild award for the best performance by a female actress in an Drama Series and also a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting actress in drama Series. Hoyeon is from Myeonmok-dong located in Seoul. Hoyeon began her modeling career in the year 2011 as a freelancer model, walking during Seoul Fashion Week. She competed on Seoul's fourth series of Next Top Model and placed as the second runner-up. The year 2016 was the year she received her international debut when she landed an exclusive contract worldwide in partnership with Louis Vuitton. Since then, she has been featured in numerous campaigns as well as walked the runway for designers such Chanel, Fendi, Miu Miu, Marc Jacobs, and Moschino to name just a few. born in NSW, Australia, Sharni Vinson grew up in Sydney's southern beaches suburb of Cronulla. In her teens she competed at a National Level for swimming and had 4 State records in high school. Sharni was among the youngest performers in the immediate family of her, beginning at a young age singing, acting and dancing. Sharni's mother was a performer in the musical theater and her grandmother, the country's youngest ballerina in 1945, was awarded a place on the Borovansky Ballet Company. Sharni began her dance training through The Brent Street School of Performing Arts, Sydney. She was trained for 10 years in all aspects of dance. Sharni joined Roadshow Music Australia at 17 year old, after having graduated high school. She was a member of the group girl "Foxfire IV", which had the debut track 'Roses,' that reached at the top of the Australian ARIA Charts.
